Osprey designs and fabricates custom furniture and architectural elements built to last generations. Each project begins with the material itself: its origin, its character, and its full life cycle. We work with natural defects rather than discarding them, favor traditional joinery that can be repaired rather than replaced, and use finishes like yakisugi that protect wood without chemical treatment. Projects are developed with architects, designers, and builders as integrated scopes, fabricated in sequence and installed as a single architectural effort, so that every piece serves the space and the materials it came from.

Monolithic dining scope (Claro walnut and blackened steel) — custom residence

Stone and wood concept (Locally-sourced granite and sustainably sourced teak) — site-responsive architectural element

Suspended architectural ceiling cloud (reclaimed barnwood and low-voc white paint)

(In production) Aspen Total Automotive slat wall (white oak and stainless steel, 16'x12')
Signature Work
These works explore material behavior, proportion, and process. While developed independently, several pieces may be placed privately or serve as the basis for future commissioned work.

Balance — Stone & Yakisugi

Minimalist restraint - steel and reclaimed wood

(In-production) Buckhorn Public Arts x Aspen Ski Co. "Reimagine a Chair" Project (White oak and stainless steel)
Process
Every project begins with a paid design phase, where the most consequential decisions are made: where materials come from, how pieces are joined, and how they will age, be repaired, or be reused. Fabrication follows in sequence, working with each material's natural character rather than against it. Installation is coordinated with the broader project team, with logistics planned in advance to reduce waste, rework, and unnecessary transport.
